If you’re not one of Facebook’s 500 million users, chances are you are missing out on a lot of pretty cool things. Ford is giving loyal Facebook fans an exclusive, albeit gradual, first look at the newly redesigned 2011 Ford Explorer. Bit by bit, close-up shots of the car are appearing on the Ford Explorer fan page, leaving fans to piece together what the new model will look like on the inside and out:
The company hopes to keep all eyes on their page on July 26th, when the official reveal will take place live, you guessed it, on Facebook. With the Explorer already reaching over 35,000 likes already, Ford will be launching an enter-to-win contest and give away a new 2011 Ford Explorer to one lucky fan. Ford spokesman Mike Rowe will be on-hand that day in Manhattan’s Herald Square, but he’s keeping details of the fanfare under wraps.
